POOR LISTENING SKILLS

A candidate not paying attention during an interview is a major red flag. A candidate is constantly asking you to repeat yourself during the ISGF interview can be a sign that they are not that interested in the position. Some candidates, will let you submit them to a position but have no intent on excepting an offer if one is extended. Most of the time they do this as an ego boost or to leverage offers against their current employers. If you feel that your candidate is not taking you seriously, one effective strategy is the take-a-way. Tell them that it seems that the position is not of interest to them and ask if they anyone who would be interested.
