HOW WE MAKE MONEY

PRIMARY REVENUE STREAMS

Our firm predominantly makes money two ways, by placing candidates for direct hire roles as well as staffing consultants on short-term, long-term, or temporary assignments.

  • For direct hire roles, we charge the client a one-time fee based on a percentage of the candidates first year annual compensation. This percentage generally ranges between 20% and 30% but can exceed 30% for high level or high demand roles.
  • On contract roles, we charge the client a preset dollar amount for every hour our contractor/consultant works for that company. The amount charged to the client typically ranges between 40% and 60% over what we pay the contractor; this percentage increase is known as markup.

SECONDARY REVENUE STREAMS

In addition to the revenue opportunities listed above, we also have the ability to generate revenue by payrolling candidates as well as offering RPO services to our clients.

  • Payrolling a candidate occurs most often when a client already has a candidate selected but decides not to have that candidate on their payroll. Reasons for this decision could be because the client does not want to take on the liabilities for employing the candidate directly, or maybe the client wants to hire the candidate but has a long internal hiring process for direct hire employees so bringing the candidate on as a contractor could be a work around.
  • RPO stands for Recruitment Process Outsourcing. This is when a company decides to outsource some or all of its recruiting efforts to a recruiting firm such as ours. Typically, RPO services are assessed a flat monthly fee depending on how many new hires the company (client) thinks it will employ per month.
