AGENCY RECRUITING BENEFITS

Recruiting is a cycle, and the name of the game is to recycle. In recruiting, candidates will become clients and at some point, often turn back into candidates. It is not unusual for a tenured recruiter to place the same candidate three or four times throughout their career. Likewise, clients often turn into candidates. When a client works with us and sees the effort and passion we have in placing candidates they will remember that when it comes time for them to seek out new employment.

We are always looking for new ways to add value to our clients and candidates through the services we provide. One of the most common ways we do that is through information to the extent that some people consider us to be Information Brokers.

INFORMATION

Regardless if we provide staffing or recruitment solutions to a client the relationship we have with them does not stop at the placement. Clients view us as market experts and will regularly turn to us for information pertaining to market trends, salary rates, hiring strategies and even internal issues to see if we can help.

RESUME RECOMMENDATIONS

Reviewing resumes for candidates is done on a regular basis and throughout this process, we are always happy to make improvement recommendations. Using the experience gained in this industry, you will have the insider knowledge as to what may be more visually appealing to a potential employer, or how to improve the structure of a resume, or what verbiage should be used to pique the interest in a hiring manager. All of this will greatly increase the chances of getting a resume noticed.

That being said, we never instruct or encourage candidates to embellish, fabricate, or omit information on or from their resume. Nor would we ever write a resume for our candidate.

SALARY REPORTS

Salary reports are another common value-add tool we provide to our clients and in some cases even candidates. These reports are a great way to educate a client on what it will take to stay competitive in the job market by identifying what other companies are paying for similar roles. They can also gauge how difficult a search assignment is based on the number of available candidates who possess the skills needed in a particular area.

INTERVIEW TIPS

When it comes down to it, being in the recruitment industry gives us the unique ability to help people. One way we do that is by informing candidates on proper interview etiquette. Interview etiquette can consist of suggesting good questions to ask during an interview, it can also cover how to act, what to say, what not to say, how to write a thank you letter, and the list goes on.

We do job-specific testing to speed up the process as well as past employment verification. Additionally, if something was mentioned in the interview that wasn’t on a resume, I can verify that for you.

We conduct a minimum of two references on each candidate and we can go further than that. Would it increase your ability to make the right hiring decision if you could ask specific questions to former managers and peers?

ACCESS TO PASSIVE CANDIDATES (NOT ACTIVELY SEARCHING)

These same candidates do not answer calls between 8a-6p and our team works outside of normal business hours to speak with them.

We pre-screen and interview all of our candidates prior to submitting them to your company.

We can go back and ask more role or candidate specific questions that the hiring manager would like to know before interviews. We can reference and verify employment before interviews.

If you would like us to verify anything on a resume or what was said in an interview, we can specifically do that with a targeted reference call. That’s when we call people the candidate didn’t provide.

We will also advise ahead of time any candidates that will be subject to counter offers.
