RED FLAGS

When interviewing a candidate always be on the lookout for red flags. It is important to be able to recognize these warning signs, but even more important to act on them. If you do spot a potential red flag, you do not need to automatically disqualify the candidate. Instead, ask specific questions that will help you identify if the candidate can be coached to overcome the issue or not.

If you determine that the red flag is legitimate, in most cases, it is best to reject that candidate and move onto finding a better option.
